Mindfulness-based interventions seem to have gained momentum in the last decade. Initially applied to adults, researchers then turned their attention to adapting these interventions to adolescents. Some studies have already shown promising results with this population. Moreover, impulsivity seems to be a psychological process that is relatively well involved in adolescence and in psychopathology. Thus, working on this process would make it possible to improve mental health in the general population but also and especially in adolescents. In this work, the effects of mindfulness on the impulsivity process in adolescents are tested. In relation to the literature, this research is based on the Huoshen project and consists of three studies: an uncontrolled study, a controlled study and a correlation study between the facets of impulsivity and mindfulness. The mindfulness-based intervention program developed for this research can be found in the appendix of this book for the interested reader.
