Technical advances in power electronics and generation capabilities have increased the viability of Distributed Generation (DG) systems. A microgrid is a special category of distributed generation system that is distinguished by its size and ability to operate independently as a grid connected system as well as an islanded system. Control of power interfaced converters is of major concern in both the modes of operation. Unbalance in grid due to fault or disturbance would cause severe voltage collapse like voltage sags. A DG has to be connected in relevant buses for tapping its maximum utilisation in the power system network. DGs have to be located such that their presence would improve the voltage profile and stability of the entire power system network. This book presents simulation results to verify that the parallel inverters operate in coordination with each other irrespective of the impedance values.
