Melanie MacLean was born in Meadow Lake, Canada. She now resides
in Saskatoon where she has been a classroom teacher for over ten
years. Her Masters is from the University of
Saskatchewan. She is a married mother of three, whose research
interests are in literacy. She began her PhD in Education at the
University of Alberta in 2008.
