"Tittytainment", a term crafted by famous U.S. strategic expert Zbigniew Brzezinski, described that the public will lose independent thinking and judgment in the near future, and eventually they will depend on media to think and judge for them. In today's situation, Brzezinski's theory also poses a serious challenge that has become an important issue to be faced. The media should participate enthusiastically in solving problems, and they should consider using educational practices as its core solution. In order to not ignore existing media problems, the discussion of media education should start with educational practices important issue to be faced and research methods used in the education field. This discussion should be considered from different angles to find ways of teaching media literacy education as a core competency. This book is not only a condensed collection of my academic papers that provide practical observations of media literacy education. Rather, this book also reminds those of us who work as media educators - whether they are in middle schools, high schools, or universities - that the knowledge and awareness of media literacy education should be shared by all.
