Without doubt, our country has some of the most beautiful scenery and best places to visit in Europe. The Yorkshire Dales and moors, Wales, and the stunningly beautiful Scotland amongst them. All from a self-contained home on wheels, with all facilities onboard! The only problem historically is that a lot of the local councils didn’t want us camping on their patch. Fortunately the tide is turning; with more people buying motorhomes now, more councils are accommodating us. With solar panels and all facilities onboard, why pay hundreds of pounds to sit on a patch of grass when we can park right by the beach? There are many pleasant and attractive places around the country; unlike France they don't all have welcoming Aires, but they are slowly coming around to it.
