Popescu, Stefan Octavian Stefan Popescu is a Romanian-born experimental filmmaker and film theorist. Stefan has been producing films since 1998, which have gained international acclaim at film festivals and art galleries. He is also an academic at Sydney College of the Arts and is the director of the Sydney Underground Film Festival.
