What is a human being? Why was it conceived and brought to the world? Why does it perceive the world in sensory stimuli using these instruments called senses? Do we have control over our own existence? The answers aren't simple. Gino, the main character of this work, nonetheless, seems to have resolved these four questions. His interpretation of the world is idealized, very human, and quite odd. In his eyes, everything has a function, even the things that are imperceptible. He is so absorbed in platonic things that in the end he himself turns into an object of study in the mind of another person. He is transformed into a marionette of reality, a slave to his own perceptions, and somewhat withdrawn from the sensory world.
