The Marine Corps participates in programs that support aerial events, static displays, and orientation indoctrination flights. These programs keep the public, civilian leaders and military commanders informed of the Marine preparedness, demonstrate modern weapons systems, enhance community and international relations, and promote the recruiting effort. Aircraft support of public events may include specifically designated military parachute/flight demonstration teams, fly-overs, aerial reviews, static displays and other aerial activities. The availability of Marine Corps aircraft and crews for aviation events is limited by operational, training and safety considerations and by the guidelines set forth in this Manual.
