Dr. Noamen Rebai is an Associate Professor at the "École Nationale des Ingénieurs de Tunis", Tunisia. He received his doctoral degree in Geodesy from the "Observatoire de Paris", France in 1992. Noamen is an expert in Numerical Topography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and analysis of spatial data. He published about 10 papers in international refereed journals. Dr. Mohamed Mastere is a full Professor at the "Institut National d'Aménagement et d'Urbanisme" in Rabat, Morocco. He is expert in Geography, Geomorphology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Dr. Mastere has published about 12 papers in international refereed journals.
This book presents most recent research studies on mapping and spatial analysis of socio-economic and environmental indicators used by various national and international contributors to regional development projects. It gathers the best contributions to the 1st International Conference on Mapping and Spatial Analysis of Socio-Economic and Environmental Indicators for the Local and Regional Sustainable Development.
