In present the investigation aphid, A. craccivora, leafhopper, E. fabae and whitefly, B. tabaci were appeared as a major sucking insect pests infesting Indian bean. Among natural enemies lady bird beetle, Menochilus sexmaculatus Fab and syrphid fly, Xanthogramma scutellare Fab. were observed feeding on these pests.The peak population of aphid, leafhopper and whitefly on Indian bean recorded in the second week of October, fourth week of September and first week of October, respectively.The population of natural enemies, lady bird beetle, M. sexmaculatus and syrphid fly, X. scutellare coincide with the population of sucking pests.The Indian bean varieties Pusa early Prolific and Arka Jay were found resistant to aphid, leafhopper and whitefly. The highest pod yield was obtained from variety Pusa early Prolific and lowest from JKS-PL.The total phenols had significant negative and free amino acid had significant positive effect on the population of sucking insect pests on Indian bean.
