Doctor in mechanical engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is currently Director of "Escuela de Ingeniería Minera e Industrial de Almadén", Spain. His areas of interest are industrial maintenance, advanced modeling of machining of polymer matrix materials, analysis of vibrating systems, and design of automotive components.
