Doryun Chong is Deputy Director, Curatorial, and Chief Curator at M+, Hong Kong. Prior to joining M+ in 2013, he worked at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, among others.
Lesley Ma is curator of Ink Art at M+, Hong Kong. Since 2013, she has led the museum's acquisition and programming on ink art and is on the core planning team of the opening exhibitions and publications. She curated critically-acclaimed The Weight of Lightness: Ink Art at M+ (2017-18). Previously, she was Project Director at Cai Guo-Qiang Studio, New York. Ma is from Taipei and received an AB in History and Science from Harvard University, MA in Museum Studies from New York University, and PhD in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the University of California, San Diego.
Pauline J. Yao is Lead Curator, Visual Art, at M+. She has held curatorial positions at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and worked as an independent curator and writer in Beijing for six years, during which time she helped co-found the storefront art space Arrow Factory. Since joining M+ in 2012, Yao has played a leading role in building the visual art collection by overseeing and acquiring works from around Asia and beyond. Her writings on contemporary Asian art have appeared in numerous catalogues, online publications, and edited volumes.
Yokoyama Ikko is lead curator of design and architecture at M+, Hong Kong's new museum for visual culture at West Kowloon Cultural District. Before joining M+, she was based in Stockholm and served as head of exhibitions at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. As an independent curator and writer, Yokoyama worked on international exhibitions and projects, and in 2008, she cofounded Editions in Craft, a production platform that encourages collaborations among artists, designers, and craftspeople. Currently, she serves as an executive committee member of the ICAM International Confederation of Architectural Museums.
