VANETs (Vehicular Ad hoc Networks) are becoming increasingly prevalent because they increase efficiency when transferring data and improve security needs. Some of the VANETs trustworthy applications include calamity alert, road transport, dangerous location alert, monitoring traffic, etc. Routing and data dissemination algorithms have to be expounded to get the maximum benefits of VANETs. The video streaming is also important aspect in the VANETs. To enhance the effectiveness of video streaming over the VANET platform, a suitable routing protocol is required. The performance of existing protocols is good, but they do not adjust the delay which occurs when the packets are transmitted. The linking of the network topology and network parameters is an important factor for developing an appropriate routing protocol for VANETs. A video alert or text message is sent to the vehicles as a warning signal, showing situations such as steep turns in the road. VANET faces many troubles when transmitting the video. Video streaming not only allows for data dissemination to passengers, but it also allows for driving via a separate text message.
