From my childhood I have been deeply touched by human problems. I saw that people who strictly followed their religion and faith were generally dishonest. This led me to search for the nature of God. I often wondered how people who believed in Holy Scriptures indulged in dishonesty. I also saw that something in me always made me act honestly, stand up to wrongs of others, and question the purpose of life. Gradually I perceived answers to human problems and discovered the nature of Truth (God). There arose a deep urge to put across the Truth to all people to enable them to put an end to their sufferings. This urge has resulted in the writing of this book. What is written cannot be really understood by the mind, as it is incapable of understanding the Truth. It is only the inner self that can comprehend it. However, if the reading of these pages can stir a human soul by making it question existing values (of the mind) its purpose is served. When Buddha realized the Truth he went into quietude and spoke nothing for a long while. His disciples asked him why he did not talk about the Truth that he had realized. He said, "Those who see the Truth need not be told about it, while those who do not see the Truth will not understand it." There is always a difficulty in putting across the Truth, which is given many interpretations over the ages. However, it can be perceived by 'living from within'. If the soul can be touched it will start on the journey to end problems and, when the soul becomes free, the Truth will be seen.
