The theoretical part includes different plans of describing characters in literature and enumeration of different means, which help to describe a character. Also it deals with the biography of Emily Bronte and the connection of her biography with her novel "Wuthering Heights". There are also some gothic features of this novel, which were pointed out by some researches. The practical part consists of analysis of description of four characters in the novel "Wuthering Heights" and the comparison of two love lines in this novel.
