Gümbel, Dietrich
Dr. Dietrich Gümbel was born in Königsberg/Ostpreussen. He studied biology and geography at the University of Bonn, worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for Water Ecology (Limnology) in Schlitz/ Hessen and received his doctorate at the University of Giessen / Germany. His painting and poetry combines the natural science with humanities.
