The papers collected in this volume explore the current state of light scattering as itdeveloped in recent years. They represent a selection of the presentations held duringthe Bremen Workshop on Light Scattering by Particles 2021, which was organized both by Leibniz-Institut für Werkstofforientierte Technologien - IWT and University of Bremen in Bremenin March 2021.Over the years, this workshop became a regular institution. Because of the second yearof the Coronavirus pandemic we had a virtual conference organized via Zoom. Nevertheless,this year there were 28 presentations and about 50 participants from 14 differentcountries. With the speakers we covered time zones ranging from Novosibirsk to California.
