Godfrey Gegter came out of the hospital after being several months in a coma, due to an automobile accident. He felt that somehow the world had changed. At first he didn't know quite what had changed but things definitely didn't feel the same. At first he put it down to brain injury from the accident or the effects of being in the coma but then his long time girl friend denied even knowing him.
