Leibnizian epistemology is unique in that it incorporates metaphysical principles since they are considered essential to the advancement of knowledge. The last part of the book deals with these so-called architectonic principles and their function in the development of specific scientific doctrines. Although the work is already very well known and has even influenced many current commentators, this reissue is more than welcome and gives the opportunity to discover or
rediscover major analyzes and interpretations within Leibnizian studies.
