Dr Hafiz Bin Salih is an expert in Social Administration, Educational Management, Development Management and Conflict Resolution. He is blessed with several years of work experience, including over 23 years of working experience with the Ghana Education Service. Dr Hafiz Bin Salih has strong skills in teaching, strategic thinking, advocacy, supervision, communication and planning.Due to his interest in knowledge acquisition, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih has obtained a number of academic qualifications. Among them are Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Administration from University for Development Studies, Ghana, Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, Master of Philosophy in Development Studies (M.Phil.) from University for Development Studies, Ghana, Master of Arts (M.A.) in Conflict, Peace & Development Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and several other qualifications. Dr Bin Salih is a member of some reputable professional bodies.In politics, Dr Bin Salih has been a leading and an active member of the New Patriotic Party - one of the two most dominant political parties in Ghana since 1992. As a result, he has held various positions in the New Patriotic Party. Currently, he is a member of the National Council of NPP.His hobbies are reading, travelling and watching football. Dr Bin Salih has published a number of articles in reputable journals.Dr Hafiz Bin Salih was sworn into office as the Minister in Charge of one of Ghana's sixteen administrative regions - the Upper West Region, on 27th March 2019 by the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Dr Hafiz Bin Salih is a native of Jejeidayiri, a suburb of Wa in the Upper West Region. He is married to Reyana Hakeem, and they have two children; Hassan Kangyiri and Khadijah Deliwmini.
