Marilyn Aguirre–Molina is professor of population and family health at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York. She has served as the executive vice president of the California Endowment and as senior program officer at The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Carlos W. Molina is professor of health education and dean of academic affairs at Hostos Community College at City University of New York. He has served as the executive director of Lincoln Hospital in New York.

Aguirre–Molina and Molina are coeditors (with Ruth Enid Zambrana) of Health Issues in the Latino Community (Jossey–Bass, 2001).
