Thinking he was a transient in need of help, she offered him her lunch. He backed away and said: "I need nothing from you, but pray to God for an advocate, and pray the Bible with pencil and metal." Many years later, while praying, she had a vision of a blank piece of paper with a pencil on it and saw "illuminated particles" falling all around her.
