In the book the author explains the control system developed for the Attosecond Laboratory in the Lund Laser Center, at the University of Lund, Sweden. The setup is characterized by a detection device for the laser beam position displacements and power variations, in order to actuate a fast feedback control to compensate those fluctuations. The stabilized laser is a femtosecond oscillator that is amplified by a Chirped Pulse Amplificator (CPA) setup. The stabilization apparatus allows a better locking of an important parameter of these kind of fast bursts of light: the carrier-to-envelope phase, also briefly described within this text. The main purpose of the control is to increase the quality of the ultrafast pulses used to perform Atomic Physics experiments in the field of Attosecond Pulses generation, in the form of train of pulses or isolated single pulses, and Electrons Spectroscopy in atoms and complex molecules. This work has been presented as a Master Thesis dissertation in the Atomic Physics division at Lund University.
