The protection and rational use of soil and land is important in many countries, including Georgia. The form and content of the land use is changing on the background of deepening public relations. Aspects of management organization (legal, economic, and organizational) in different countries differ depending on how socio-economic level is based on the strategy. Special interest is the radical changes in the land use (landmarks) in the post-socialist space of the 20th century. Principles and methods of land use have been substantially changed in these countries, including Georgia. The knowledge about the causes, the manifestation, and the economic consequences of globalization are now widely understood. As a consequence, the proper political instruments are seldom found. In this book, the authors try to summarize the most relevant aspects of globalization from an economic point of view. In this context, the analysis centers on aspects of international trade, of foreign direct investments and of international capital movements. It depicts how they influence economic growth and income distribution, especially the extent of absolute poverty in the affected economics.
