Novel triblock copolymers of poly(L-lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-sebacate-poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-lactide) were synthesized by Ring-Opening Polymerization (ROP). Two groups of eighteen polymer networks were also prepared; the first nine network groups were prepared from triblock copolymers with crosslinked sodium alginate, S1-S9. Pluronic F-127 was added to the previous compositions to prepare the second nine-network group, SP1-SP9. All those polymer networks were loaded with 50 IU of insulin. Insulin release study at pH 1.2 and 8.4 for 24 hours was carried out, and it revealed that it follows the first order from the kinetic point of view. The obtained data showed that the release of insulin decreases within first two hours for fibre IPN's having 2000 g/mol poly (ethylene glycol) molecular weight and 50 units of poly (L-lactide)
