Implant treatment increasingly popular treatment option with a high success rate. Overall quality of life is enhanced with replacement missing teeth that look, feel, function of chewing and occlusion like natural teeth., there is always a possibility of that permanent teeth will be lost due to diseases or accidents. Dental bridges and partial dentures have been used for replacement of teeth for decades. But also there is a new treatment option suitable for some patients which are dental implants. Our descriptive cross sectional hospital based study showed that 62.1% of the study population were males and 37.9% are females. Almost 60% of them are at the age group of 20-39 years, Patients had a positive attitude towards replacing missing teeth, were 62.2% agreed that it was always advisable to replace it, and only 5% (20 patients) though it was not necessary. 47% of patients became familiar with dental implants from their dentists, while 17.1% and 8.2% got the information from interment and multimedia.
