A collection of prayers with a common theme of peace authored by the Holy Spirit through John T. Mudd These prayers of peace are not just about world peace, but about peace in our daily lives. Here is an excerpt: All that I Am Dear God, please allow me to use the blessings that You have bestowed upon me to see the goodness that surrounds me. May I use my ears to hear the words of peace and love that are spoken daily. May I use my eyes to see the work that others do to bring about justice and peace. May I use my mind to think positively of the world that You have lovingly created for me. May I use my hands to reach for those less fortunate. May I use my feet to travel on the path that You have laid before me. Finally, please allow me to use my heart to experience and share the love that only You allow. I ask this in Your name. Amen. After the September 11th attacks on the United States, John Mudd wanted to do his part for the country and the world. He developed a website called, Pray for Peace, that reached everyone via email. Two prayers were sent out daily and were translated in the languages of more than one hundred countries. Everyone receiving his email was praying for peace. His intent was to have millions of voices reaching to God. Eventually, John put his best works in a book entitled, "Gift of Peace." Shortly after making this book available, John died tragically in a house fire. The fire consumed most of John's worldly belongings and our family was left with little to hold on to. This collection of prayers brought us much comfort and we would now like to share them with you. We have added a few more of his prayers to his original works that we found since his passing as well as the story detailing the tragic loss of a child (two in fact) written by John's mom. Thank you for letting us share his "Gift of Peace."
