In the eyes the world, Suu Kyi is the only qualified Myanmar person to lead Myanmar into openness. When she is silent, conserved, reserved, or calculating at a time of dire need for openness and transparency a legitimate question arises. Is Suu Kyi a racist? Based on his own experience, the author digs Myanmar culture and politics in search of the answer. Shwe Lu Maung, Ph.D., is a biological scientist who is also a revolutionary strategist and former Burmese guerrilla. On the top of his rebellious politics, he specializes in the reproductive endocrinology, biotechnology, and molecular genetics. He was a gene-hunter in his last employment.
