Prof. S. K. Dutta was awarded the degree of Ph.D from IIT, Kanpur. He was also awarded Essar Gold Medal - 2006 Award by Indian Institute of Metals. He is associated with M.S.U. Baroda for last 30 years. He has been engaged in research on Composite Pellets for last three decades. He has published more than 90 technical papers and written two books.
