He submitted his PhD thesis on "Investigations into the use of entomopathogenic fungi as a means of controlling the important mealybugs affecting different crops" in TNAU, Coimbatore. He received his M.Sc. (Ag.) in the field of entomology from S.H.I.A.T.S, AlD.
