Egret, Yuri and Keo, three brothers from a small town called Kitridge, forced to set out and explore the countryside, when they are drawn into an job, escorting a young boy to Lyoness. Wanting to find his sister, Fulton leads them to her former house, where strange occurances have been happening. Upon investigating, the brothers find more than they are able to deal with, when they find the necromancer that used to occupy the house many years ago. Interested in the necromancer, Yuri seeks him out only to discover that old wizards spell books have been lost. While the necromancer teaches Yuri, he leaves his brothers to take the old wizards place in Crystalmyr and begins to terrorize the continent.
