Like a parent, God has guided us this far, but now it's time to take on the world and move away from our parents warm embrace and realize this Universe wipes out more life than it creates. Written to challenge the religious and the idea we call 'God, ' these stories may have been Inspired By God but not necessarily 'God inspired' or supported. They are intended to challenge and inspire thoughts about ones faith - not to offend or disgrace, and not to dismiss or disprove any religious doctrine or deeply held belief. Through this set of stories, Retlaw expresses to the reader the idea that we should put our faith in the people we see every day - our family, friends, and neighbors - and most importantly, ourselves, and be grateful for the life all around us.
