This systematic review explores the biological and clinical impact of orthodontic treatment on the roots of autotransplanted teeth, with particular emphasis on root resorption, ankylosis, and long-term stability. Drawing on evidence from clinical studies involving both immature and fully developed donor teeth, the article highlights that orthodontic forces, when applied after adequate periodontal healing and within physiological limits, do not significantly compromise root development or survival.
