Implant supported overdenture has been proven to be more effective than any other treatment modalities as compared to fixed partial denture, when survival of abutment is considered. Together with all persons involved in implantology, we must remain convinced that in the ongoing pursuit of reliable outcome measures, our profession must not lose sight of the ultimate goal - enriching the patient's quality of life. Our endeavor must be to give a prosthesis that is esthetic, well functioning, comfortable and long lasting.Keeping all this in mind, let us not forget the Buddha's words,'The greatest purpose of life is to make something that will outlast us'.

Dr. Sidhant Sudan graduated from UP dental college and research center, Lucknow and then completed my post graduation in department of prosthodontics and implantology from Darshan dental college, Rajasthan. Also completed my senior residentship from IGGDC, Jammu and now actively involved in clinical practice at Sudan Dental Clinic, Jammu.
