A more efficient kindergarten setting should focus on increasing teachers job satisfaction and reduce their job dissatisfaction. In this book, kindergarten teachers are satisfied with the factors: increased responsibility, personal growth and professional development, domination of teaching materials and methods, achievement in teaching, recognition of accomplishment, and interpersonal relationship. Teachers perceptions of job satisfaction and dissatisfaction differ based on whether they attend or do not attend continuing education programs. Teachers who attend continuing education for more than three years have greater job satisfaction than teachers who attend for fewer years.

Chang Jung Christian University of Taiwan.
She received her Ed.D. degree (2001) in Adult and Higher
Education from University of South Dakota in USA. Her areas of
