The Devil have blinded the eyes of those that believe not on the Son of God He take them captive at his will as most do not believe in his existence He is real and he is roaming this earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour Christians are instructed to be sober, be viligent and watch unto prayer as the Devil is the great adversary Many have been caught in his trap as many play with him, in that, many dip and dab in and out of the world involving themselves in fleshly things The Devil have caused many to drift to sleep and it is while they sleep that he will set in to steal, to kill and to destroy their very souls We are told that the night is far spent and the day is as hand, let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light we are to not sleep spiritually as do those of this world but we are to stay awake and alert as we are not ignorant of the Devil's devices In the pages of this book I take you on a journey back into time, a time that a man by the name of Samson, played with the Devil and ultimately drifted off into this spiritual sleep as he lie on the knees of Dalilah a weapon formed by the Devil in order to destroy Samson While she caused him to sleep on her knee after a period of vexing the very soul of Samson he revealed to her why he was stronger than any other man and what would weaken him to become as any other man It was while he slept that the Devil took advantage and bound him, blinded him and cast him into prison. When Samson woke from this spiritual sleep he found himself as any other man and completely helpless for God had departed from him Although the hair of his head had began to grow back, his great strength did not return until he prayed to God asking for strength to revenge what the Devil had done to him: Samson awake out of sleep before he died with the Philistines I take the prayer that most of us were taught as a child and I turn it around just a little bit to open the eyes of the spiritually blind in the world as well as those Christians that have drifted off into this spiritual sleep because of playing with the Devil in some form or the other I entitled this book, "If I Wake Before I Die " It is an inspiring book that will open the eyes of the spiritually bind and cause them to understand the ultimate fate of those that die before they wake in the state of spiritual sleep in deep darkness within the spirit of their minds To Christians that are spiritually awake, even if death should come before they wake; we go from death to life but for those that are spiritually asleep if death should come while they are asleep; will go from death unto death It is vital to one's soul that one should wake before they die
