This story was written to help pet owners understand and appreciate their pets, to share in their unconditional 'love, joy and tears' and to help them get through the loss and to know it is okay to grieve. As strong as we like to believe we eventually end up in vulnerable situations which we have no control over but are expected to endure whatever it is that may come our way and move on.
