Colleen Kassner is a fine art portraitist and oil painter living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her work varies from the whimsical to the traditional. She first developed her creative talents as a poet in the mid-1990s. Through several years of illness, her creativity and stability was abandoned. It took an epiphany about her life to push her to move into painting. Once she found her expression through visual art, she pursued it with a vigor. Colleen has shown her work locally, nationally, and to international audiences. In this publication she had included both a representation of the variety of paintings she has created and select poems from her literary repertoire.
