This is my story about my appointment with Jesus to be healed, told through a series of true short stories as God builds my faith to be healed. As I wait upon Jesus and trust in his timing and his season to be healed, he encourages me and strengthens me to receive what he is giving me. God has spoken that: "yes, he is going to heal me," and I am patiently waiting for my appointment with Jesus to be healed. My heart's desire is to be healed from the affects of polio that has afflicted my life for years. Polio was a disease that afflicted your body in the muscles of your body. This polio afflicted people's lungs, legs, and arms. Some people even died from polio. Those that were afflicted in their lungs had to be placed in an iron lung machine just to breath. Others who were afflicted in their legs and arms had to wear braces on their legs and arms to move and walk. Writing this book has been a healing process as God leads me to remember all of the things about my life. As I tell my story, God is healing me from the inside first and then I will be healed on the outside. God is breaking strongholds from off my life as I tell my story. He is destroying yokes off my life as I go through the process of healing. God is revealing this to me as I write my testimony. I ask God why am I weeping as I write this story? He said you are letting go of hurts you have held onto over the years. You are forgiving people who hurt you in your past. God said it is a process Loretta that you have to go through to be healed. You are being made whole. As I write these true short stories I have wept over things I have not thought about in years and letting them go from my life. God is destroying the bondage that I have been up under all these years. What an awesome God we serve. I have faith in God's love for me so much that I know he will give me my heart's desire. God is not a man that he should lie. What he says he will do, he will perform that very thing. I invite you to read my story of how God is preparing me and building my faith to be healed, through these true short stories that I tell you about of my experiences with God.
