We serve a God of Seasons. At creation, God made the seasons, each with a purpose attached to it. We must know that creation itself was not an accident; God had a plan in mind. Genesis 8 v 22 says "While the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease." Our individual lives which revolve around Christ will make us to enter and exit many seasons, some of which are good while some not too good, while Jesus remains the same yesterday today and forever. Heb. 13 v 8. Just like the scripture says in Eccl. 3 v 1 "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" There is a purpose for every season whether pleasant or unpleasant. There are seasons you would have preferred not to go through if you had to make a choice, but going through them invariably makes you to learn some life lessons, which you may not have had access to except through those experiences enveloped in the seasons. Note that because you are going through some challenges or have gone through a rough season does not mean God is through with you because, Phil. 1 v 6 says "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" According to this scripture, no matter the challenges that may come your way, God has purposed a good work in your life which He will complete to translate you into your new season. I prophesy that by divine arrangement, you are entering into your new season in Jesus name. In preparing to step into your new season, I want you to take cognizance of the following: Entering into a new season brings NEW CHANGES. As we know that change is meritable, God is the author of seasons, he created them, each different from the other. Some seasons are favourable, some are not, and some are longer than others. According to the scriptures in Matthew 4 v 18 - 20, Simon Peter the fisherman entered into a new season immediately Jesus commanded him "follow me and I will make you a fisher of men," and he obeyed. The life of Peter changed. I pray for you as you encounter the power of God today, a new season is your portion in Jesus name. Entering into a new season brings NEW CHALLENGES. Looking at the life of Peter, his faith was challenged when he attempted walking on the water to meet Jesus, what a challenge in his new season Peter's humility was also challenged when Jesus humbled himself to the level of a servant to wash the disciples' feet. But in all, he stepped up to the various challenges, except for the time he denied knowing Jesus three times. May you never find yourself in a situation where you would deny knowing your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in your new season. Hear this beloved; people will place a lot of demands on you in your new season. You need God to empower you with strength and wisdom to cope with the positive ones and overcome the negative ones that are detrimental to your well-being. Entering into new season brings out the NEW CHAMPION in you. In your new season, you will be transformed into a champion just like Peter was transformed from a fisherman into a preacher. People will be amazed to see you as a new champion in your new season, but let people know that it is by the transforming power of the most High God. Beloved this is the new season for the new champions. God is all out to release His power and so I declare in the name of Jesus that: Those depressed will begin to rejoice Those barren shall be fruitful Those failing in businesses shall receive earth-shaking breakthroughs Those forgotten shall be remembered Those rejected shall be accepted Those who are down trodden shall have their heads lifted up Those who grief will have their joy manifest Those who are poor will say I am rich Those afflicted will walk into wholeness Those thongs stolen shall be restored a hundred folds Please say to yourself loud and clear, 'M"
