With the advent of cinema, we have several possibilities for capturing images at the moment of the event and recording stories and showing them to a wide and diverse audience, which is rapidly expanding, characterising and determining a new aspect of cultural access. In addition, contemporary society is surrounded by visual appeals, using images to compose the urban landscape and the daily life of modern man. These possibilities are not far removed from the educational context. Thus, this book records the results of a master's thesis conducted at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro-UFTM, in Uberaba-MG, on how teachers recognise the potential of cinematic language as a pedagogical resource in their teaching practice. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the opportunities and possibilities for training in new technologies in 21st-century education. And although cinema is not new, its approach is very important for teacher training and the configuration of education in this new century.
