What is the reason for Chennai to be one of the four largest cities in the country? Any idea about why Chennai became the capital of Tamil Nadu? The only answer for all the above questions is the sea port, which helped history to dock in. Mr.K.Marimuthu presently doing his Ph.D.,Research work under the guidance of Prof.N.Rajendran, on History of Tuticorin Port in Bharathidasan University, India. He has attended and presented his research papers in academic seminars and conferences. He has published several research articles in reputed National and International Journals.
