Hindsight bias is well known as an impression of having already known beforehand about an outcome of an event, after receiving the actual outcome information (Fischhoff, 1975). There has been a lot of research on hindsight bias, with some approaches, for instance, focusing on individual difference variables such as expertise. The present study's aim was to show that expertise, consisting of knowledge and self-presentation, has a joint impact on hindsight bias. In detail, knowledge was expected to decrease and self-presentation to increase the bias.
