The utilization of these processes in the lived experiences of the participants assigns new appropriated interpretations. The book opens up a new pathway to quality cancer nursing care by introducing a descriptive theory of the phenomenon. This theory reflects the aspects that are considered important by the users and at the same time promised by the providers of the health care services.

Charalambous, AndreasDr Andreas Charalambous has obtained his PhD degree in Oncology Nursing in 2008. He is currently working as a Lecturer of Oncology and Palliative Care at the Cyprus University of Technology. He has undertaken several projects in the field of Oncology and Palliative Care and he is the author of several articles published in reputed journals.
