Today estimate that about 80% of people in developing countries still relays on traditional medicine based largely on species of plants and animals for their primary health care. Thus these two herbs Foeniculum vulgare and Thymus Vulgaris were selected for the evaluation of hepatoprotective activity against antitubercular drug induced hepatotoxicity in rats.
