A person who loves is also a healer. Should there be limits to this love that heals? Have you ever wandered the streets at night, or at midday, to cure love pains? Love pains are not easily cured. No drugstore caries the remedy and no pub dispenses the healing 'waters.' Nor is the curative process taught by professors in universities. It seems we are alone with our love pains, and yet they are so easily cured. We all have the capacity to heal and often we are touched by the forces of this healing, but rarely do we open our hearts and hands. We shy away from the process of healing for a thousand excuses, all may seem important though they close the door to the greatest principle in the universe, the Principle of Universal Love. The book contains a selected story from my series of 12 novels, The Lodging for the Rose. The series is large, because is core subject, universal love, is far from being trivial in scope, though it is rarely recognized as a critical element of civilization. Within the series numerous stories are staged that focus on specific aspects of the gigantic theme. Since a number of the stories are sufficiently complete in themselves to stand on their own, I have launched a project to make some of the unique 'vistas' more accessible as individual works. In the resulting Kaleidoscope Project certain types of vistas can be grouped together by their theme. The Sex and Sacrament Project emerged from this background. The combination of Sex and Sacrament as a theme was chosen as a daring project to gently highlight the fact that in spite of the wide scene of division and isolation of numerous types in the human 'landscape, ' we remain fundamentally what we have always been, a people of a common humanity that we all share as human beings. The focus on sex has been chosen for it being one of the longest enduring aspects of our humanity that has a uniting and equalizing quality that transcends all the little artificial things we place in our way and fight wars for, religiously, politically, militarily, socially, and even in the sciences. The Sacrament was chosen in combination with sex, for its potential to bring the divine quality of humanity into focus as a single universal whole. The spiritual name of humanity is intelligence, creativity, power, productivity, sublimity, and beauty, expressed in art, literature, science, and with them in the ability to 'see' the future that has not yet happened, and to uplift the present for it before it happens. With these we can recognize the principles of the universe and their changing dynamics in cosmic space, and thereby prepare our world for the rapid start of the next Ice Age in the 2050s, for which the transition is already in progress. The Sex and Sacrament Project may have the potential to draw the two great spiritual aspects into one; our long enduring unity as humanity and our power as an 'infinite' species, both of which are becoming evermore denied in modern time for purely artificial reasons, which, by us becoming aware of them, can be dealt with. The book presented here, Helen a Healer, carries an exploration story for this larger healing. The story is from Book 1 (Discovering Love) of my series of 12 novels, The Lodging for the Rose. The story is situated in Leipzig, Germany, near the end of the Communist era, though it could be situated anywhere and in any modern time frame
