Workers in the USA can do most of the work. From 1993 to 2007 over 660,000 people died in traffic accidents; 44 million people sustained injury. The HEVER system will virtually eliminate deaths and injury due to highway accidents. We use over 20 million barrels of oil daily. Gas wastage by congestion and personal driving for automobiles and trucks exceeds four billion gallons annually. Commercial moving of freight can, by itself, justify the HEVER roadway; however the greatest benefit will result in the safe and hi-speed movement of people.
