Other examples of these relationships include Novo Nordisk's (Denmark) collaboration with Sweden's Cellartis on stem cell treatments for diabetes; Johnson & Johnson's investments in Novocell and Tengion (East Norriton, Pa.); GlaxoSmithKline's investment in Harvard University's stem cell institute; and Novartis's and Roche's investments in Cellerix (Spain). This volume contains information about the big pharmaceutical entities only sporadically and referentially. Nevertheless, the Guide's comprehensive listings contain accurate contact information, up-to-date lists of senior management, overviews of corporate missions and research activities, and Web links to financial/funding/investor pages and corporate news pages, where available. Companies are listed alphabetically within major market, product or research category.
