Grimms' Fairy Tales by the Brothers, Jacob and Wilheim Grimm, is a collection of fairy tales first published in 1812 as Kinder- und Hausmarchen in German. Translated into English by Edgar Taylor in 1823, this is the most common collection of Grimms Fairy Tales. Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859) Grimm, were both German authors better known together as The Brothers Grimm.
