Dr. Abhilasha Singh Mathuriya currently serves as the Joint Director (S)/Scientist D at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India. Previously, she held the position of Associate Professor and Head, Bio-POSITIVE and Department of Life Sciences at Sharda University, India. She holds a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. Dr. Mathuriya has consistently excelled academically, achieving top positions in both college and university merit lists. Her primary research interests include bioelectrochemical systems, bioproducts, fermentation, and biological wastewater treatment. She has authored 50 high-impact factor papers and 18 books/book chapters,has applied for 41 patents related to various wastewater treatment reactor designs, in which 8 patents are granted, and handled 02 externally funded research projects from DST-ASEAN and DRDO.
Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh is currently working as Research Associate in the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He has earned his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Environment and Sustainable Development, from Central University of Gujarat. He was a brilliant scholar and top rank holder in university merit list. He has worked under various projects funded by the Government of India like Department of Science and Technology, Defence Research and Development Organisation, and Department of Biotechnology in the field of microbial fuel cell, bioelectrochemical system, Biohydrogen, and bioethanol production. He has published numerous research papers with average impact factor 7.827 and book chapters in reputed journals. He has developed various pretreatment strategies of lignocellulosic biomass for value added product recovery and methane suppression for the enhanced hydrogen production in bioelectrochemical systems. He has presented several papers relevant to his research areas in national and international conferences.
